The Tongue

The temparature in the kitchen doubling as a bedroom mirrors the passions of ist female owner: hot and cold. The refridegrator wakes her up. She takes out an egg. It falls down and burns a hole into the floor, out of which she pulls an overdimensional tongue. They get closer. The ice cube in the sink melts. (Ernst Spiessberger)

This documentary short portrays the legendary lesbian dance party "Club Q", which, for 15 years, took place in San Francisco and attracted about 1000 women a month. Page Hodel, the founder and DJ of "Club Q" wanted to create a space "where all women would feel supported, represented, respected and welcomed". Come, watch and dance!
