Based on a true story, this South Indian film is about Kiran (Suhasini V. Nair) and her best friend Delilah (Shrruiti Menon), who grew up together and have been inseperable ever since. When Kiran discovers her growing passion for Delilah, she is desperate, as she is sure that the love cannot be mutual. For this reason she helps high school beau Rajan (Syam Seethal) to write love letters to Delilah. Yet the wooed discovers the deception and reacts differently than anticipated – a tender as well as doomed affair takes its course.
This varation on the theme of Cyrano de Bergerac uses slow, dreamy images to tell the tale of an Idian girl's journey into womanhood – and of the not always positive experiences this journey entails.
